Domus Ventilation has announced it has been awarded a full suite of quality, environmental, management and health & safety systems certification, courtesy of the BSI. The Polypipe Group’s ventilation division, of which Domus Ventilation is part of, is the first to achieve this within the domestic ventilation sector and clearly demonstrates their ability to consistently deliver quality on all fronts.
Domus Ventilation now proudly boasts an ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management System; ISO 14001:2015 compliant Environmental Management System; PAS 99:2012 Integrated Management System; and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This range of impressive accreditations proves the company’s commitment to quality, safety and environmental considerations and shows it to be a leader in its field.
In order to attain the complete range of certification, Domus Ventilation undertook a gap analysis of operations and formulated an action plan incorporating regular communication and training with key staff, before applying for an external audit from BSI. The process took six months and led to the establishment of many new documented policies and procedures, along with tools for ongoing improvement.
Stephen Flood, Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Manager, played a pivotal role in the process: “Being the only organisation within our sector that has an accredited integrated quality, safety and environmental management system is very gratifying. The systems we have in place provide consistency to ensure our customers get the best customer experience. We are very proud of this achievement and all the hard work and dedication of our staff in enabling this step change.”
Domus Ventilation has a well-deserved reputation for quality, supported by excellent technical support, from a market leading manufacturer and designer. It is well placed to offer immediate, practical solutions to Building Regulations Parts F & L.
