Independent heating and plumbing  merchants buying group PHG presented its annual supplier awards at a celebration dinner in Cheshire last month.

Held at the Carden Park Hotel near Chester, the awards were presented by PHG chairman David Pochin.

Nominees for the Bathroom Award were: JJO, Ideal Standard, Vado and Pura. The winner was Pura.

The Plumbing award nominees were: Altecnic, Fluidmaster, INTA, Lawton Tubes and Polypipe Building Products with Polypipe crowned the winner.

The Heating nominees were: EPH Cntols, Honeywell, Ideal Boilers, Joule, Stelrad and Worcester.  The winner was Stelrad

The Instinct Award (PHG’s own brand) went to Roper Rhodes, with the other nominees being Melyn, Pura, Roman and Vogue.

The New Supplier of the year nominees were: Allpex, Classic Marble, Fm Products, Honeywell and the winner, Mermaid.

The Innovation award went to Vado, the other nominees being: Grohe, Honeywell, Ideal Boilers, Salus,  and Wirquin. 

Polypipe was awarded the overall supplier of the year.
