Border adds two to CounterAct clan

Merchant software provider Border Merchant Systems has added two new users of its CounterAct system: Alliance Sanitary Products Ltd and Talbot Block Ltd.

Designed as a tailor-made system for merchants, ranging from small family-run single sites, to large multi-branch companies, CounterAct is designed to be one of the most user friendly software systems available in the market today.

Based in East Kilbride near Glasgow, Alliance Sanitary Products specialises in supplying top quality bathroom products, (including the Highlife range), to merchants and specialist bathroom retailers throughout the UK.   Alliance’s products are either hand-made or hand-finished.

A builders’ merchant, DIY and garden centre, Talbot Block operates from a large site in Port Talbot, South Wales, supplying both trade and retail customers throughout the area. The garden centre includes a large paving display area as well as offering a patio design service.

Both clients had their new CounterAct system setup in the last few months and are now into their on-site training programmes. As part of the process product, customer and supplier data from their old system has been provided in advance so the new system is already pre-loaded with a lot of the required information.

Phil Davies – Commercial Manger at Border says:  “I am delighted to welcome Alliance and Talbot Block into the family of CounterAct users. We look forward to working closely with their teams ensuring they go live on schedule and help them get most from their investment in CounterAct. Our aim is for the system changeover to be seamless from a customer point of view.”
