Hundreds of builders merchants and building material manufacturers watched and took part in the BMJ Industry Awards Virtual Event on Friday afternoon to find out who had won the various category trophies.

The online event was hosted by TV announcer Alan Dedicoat and introduced by BMJ Editor-in-Chef Fiona Russell Horne who said that it was important to hold the event – despite the limitations imposed by the Covid-10 lockdown – to recognise and reward the huge amount of talent the industry has to offer.
