Builders merchants Thompson & Parkes celebrated the first anniversary of its Stourport branch today (September 14).

The branch, which supplies DIY, decorating and gardening tools and accessories is complemented by the company’s other two branches in Kidderminster and Oreton branches, which offer building, timber, landscaping and plumbing products. There is also a full Dulux paint mixing and colour match service at Stourport.

Company director Jean Morris said: “Thanks to everyone from the local area and to the town of Stourport for welcoming us so warmly and it’s been wonderful to invest in the local area and to support so many local charities and initiatives.

“Nikki Shipton, Stourport branch manager and the Stourport team have worked exceptionally hard to build the business and make it the success that it is today. I’m delighted for them all and wish them continued success as they enjoy and celebrate this significant milestone.”
